Save Trees Essay

Save Trees Essay

Save trees, save life is not only a slogan, it is a responsibility which should be followed by each and every person living on the earth. It is a big opportunity to all of us to save our healthy environment and green earth by saving trees. Trees are symbol of life on the earth and natural home for many people and wild animals. Saving trees have been must at any cost in such a modern world where urbanization, industrialization and global warming is going very fast. In such a technological world, where people are fighting and working for themselves only, only trees are living for benefiting others (human beings and animals).
Trees are nourishing life on the earth in many ways by providing fruits, vegetables, foliage, flowers, spices, cool shade, medicines, roots, bark, wood, sprouts, etc. One fully grown tree may serve humanity for many years without getting anything in return. They prevent us from many diseases by purifying the air, maintaining the ecological balance, providing medicines, etc. Plants are like important assets prevent soil erosion, provide habitats to the faunal species, provide nutrients to soil etc. I have mentioned following ways to save trees and environment:
We should make some effective efforts from our own end by joining the organizations working for save trees.
We should make our trees saving service volunteer so that other people may also motivate.
We should encourage our family members, friends, neighbors, small kids to get involve in saving our important resources.
We should participate in the discussion or meeting related to the trees conservation issues in the community or state.
We should hugely involve our new generation and teach children to respect trees, nature and environment by getting them to the hikes or camping.
We should promote new planting in our surroundings.

I especially choose this topic because of the increasing need of the cleanness all around the India which can only be done by the support of each and every citizen of the country. The great person of India, Mahatma Gandhi had said that, “Sanitation is more important than Independence”. India is still a developing country because of the poverty, lack of education, lack of cleanliness and other social issues. We need to eliminate all the bad reasons from the society causing obstruction in the growth and development of our country.
And I think that cleanliness drive is the best start of eliminating social issues from the society as well as promoting the growth of country with its citizen’s individual growth. Only the success of cleanliness campaign may bring a huge positive change in the India. It belongs to the internal and external growth and development of everyone living in India which shows us the completeness of slogan of “Clean, Happy and Healthy Citizens imparts Healthy and Developed Nation”. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Campaign was started by the prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in 2014 on the Gandhi Jayanti (145th birthday anniversary), 2nd of October.
Mahatma Gandhi was well aware of the weakness of the Indian rural people during his time of Indian Independence Movement. He dreamt of making this country a clean country and even he had emphasised a lot by many means among rural people however could not completed because of the incomplete participation of the people. After many years of independence, we are still living in the dirty environment and putting our lives on danger every moment. According to the data, around 30% of the rural people do not have safe access to the toilets and use open defecation system in the fields. The Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee has said while addressing to the Parliament in June 2014, “For ensuring hygiene, waste management and sanitation across the nation a “Swachh Bharat Mission” will be launched. This will be our tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary to be celebrated in the year 2019”.
In order to ensure the hygiene all over the country, it is very necessary to solve the problems of sanitation, safe toilet, and proper waste management. The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi has emphasised people about “Clean India” during his speech on August 15, 2014 on the Indian Independence day however the mission was launched successfully on 2nd of October in 2014. This mission has targeted its completion till 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of the Bapu. This mission targets to fulfil the sanitation facilities to all as well as eliminate all the unhealthy practices of people by 2019. It was 25th of September when the first cleanliness drive was started by the Indian prime minister. It is counted as the big awareness campaign in India which has become viral.
Proper hygiene and cleanliness has the capability to change the global perception about India and may attract more tourists every year which in turn may increase economy of India to a great level. According to this campaign, every Indian citizen has been requested to devote their 100 hours only annually for cleanliness in India. There is a norm to make separate toilets for boys and girls in each and every schools and colleges all over the India for the safety and hygiene by August 15, 2015. As a student and most importantly an Indian citizen, I too requests all the people gathered here to participate in this mission to compete it by 2019.

Time once lost is lost for ever. It can never be regained. It can never be captured. It is the most potent factor. Even the strongest and powerful monarchs have been helpless before time. Even they could not command time to stop. So, we should be careful about the importance of time. We should never waste it. We are successful in life only when we make the best use of time.
Time is the most influential factor in this world. It is abstract. Everything in this world is commanded and decided by time. Nobody can escape the hold of time. It is the time which gives us the opportunity to make use of it. Those who make best use of time and avail those opportunities grow and rise in life. Those who waste their time lag behind. They fail to make any mark in life. He is the wisest who makes the best use of time. He rises to the great heights who keep pace with the time.
“A stitch in time save nine” is a popular maxim. It highlights the importance of time in life. It means that an act done in time saves from inconvenience and trouble. It brings reward. It is gainful and it saves from hassle and confusion. Unnecessary delay and lazy attitude towards one’s assigned duty is very dangerous. The great men of the world rose to fame, glory and success because they always made best use of their time. They made a mark in time. They became immortal. They are guide and source of inspiration for generations to come.
To ensure best use of time in life, one needs to be very punctual. Punctuality avoids inconvenience and tension. It offers great opportunity, which, if struck properly brings big results. Opportunity once lost is hardly regained. Proper use of time brings success and achievements. Doing everything in time should be the guiding principle of life.
Man has limited years to live, but there is lots of work to do. So, he should live a purposeful life. He should make maximum use of each and every moment. Time is precious. It should be valued. We should make use of it in best possible way.

  2. Hello there. Frankly, what I’m going to say may sound commercial. A very real way of saving trees is to support the Reclaimed Wood Market when and where possible. For example, my friend Bob White has millions of board feet of Reclaimed Crane Mats. These are big timbers bolted together for heavy equipment to drive over. They are all hardwoods with several species of Oak.

Bob has been disassembling them, cleaning them up, and milling them for about 2 1/2 years now. When I asked Bob how many trees it took to make all these Crane Mats, he replied about 800,000 trees. By milling them, does Bob save that many trees? That can only be left to the imagination. But, also imagine–if we were a society whose first collective impulse was to save trees, these kinds of markets would be further developed. For example, I could be wrong, but, I don’t know of anyone else but Bob who mills these timbers. They are used for paneling for ceilings and walls, decorative timbers and fireplace mantels, stair treads, lamps, tables, and table and counter tops–and they are rustically phenomenal. I did not write this generically. I’m just a real guy doing what I can.
